This famed Scottish county is bordered by miles of coastline and plays host to bonny St. Andrews, a seaside town known for its snug coffee shop haunts and pretty historical architecture. The countryside in this part of the world is rugged, evocative, and beautiful. Nearby Cupar is one of Scotland’s oldest royal burghs; a quaint but lively town, it sits alongside the River Eden and is filled with places to eat and perfect photo opportunities.

This exquisite isle was recently crowned a UNESCO Biosphere and offers a stunning array of contrasting landscapes to see, as well as the village of Godshill, renowned for its pretty thatched cottages and idyllic tea gardens.

Norfolk

Sitting on the famous Norfolk coastline with its big skies, sprawling countryside, and wild beaches, Fakenham and North Norfolk are some of the last unspoilt parts of the UK. Here you can enjoy plenty of charming villages and excellent restaurants, as well as delightful walks on wide sandy beaches and through shady pine forests, making for some superb bird-watching opportunities.

Wye Valley

This is a holiday that gives you the best of both worlds. Established in south Herefordshire, serene Llangarron is a small rural village that’s home to various Grade II listed buildings. Characterful market town Ross-on-Wye sits only a few miles away, next to the River Wye and on the northern edge of the Forest of Dean. This area has exceptional history, with castles overlooking the river as it wends its way through beautiful, tranquil countryside.
