All Aboard! Dementia-Friendly Boat Trips with Wetwheels

Set sail for a safe, supported, and unforgettable experience

We’re thrilled to be working with Wetwheels Foundation to offer dementia-inclusive boat trips as part of our expanding Green Letter Days programme!

After years of teaming up with Wetwheels on our supported holidays, we know just how powerful time on the water can be. These boat trips bring a sense of freedom, fresh sea air, and a unique connection to nature — all in a safe, supported, and accessible environment.

Cost: £90 (per person)

Our boat trips are offered at cost price — just enough to cover the expenses of running the day, with no profit made.

Whether it’s your first time at sea or you’re a seasoned sailor, these special days are designed to be welcoming, fun, and flexible for people living with dementia and their companions. With the Wetwheels team’s fully accessible powerboats and our dementia-aware support, you’ll be in excellent hands.

Our boat trips offer:

  • No previous boating experience needed
  • Fully accessible boats with ramp access and wheelchair-friendly layouts
  • A chance to take the helm or simply enjoy the ride
  • A relaxed, friendly atmosphere with refreshments and good company
  • Part of our Green Letter Days — designed to offer meaningful days out, closer to nature
  • A visit to the iconic Spinnaker Tower. There, guests can relax and enjoy a delicious cream tea in the café, all while taking in the stunning views.

Whether you’re watching the waves or steering the boat, this is a day that will stay with you.
