Make Us Your Charity of the Year (Or Three Years!)
Choosing Dementia Adventure as your Charity of the Year is an ideal way to support people living with dementia, whilst bringing your team together around a shared purpose.
Whether you’re a national company, a regional office, or a close-knit team, we will help you create a partnership that reflects your business and inspires your people to get involved.
What You’ll Be Supporting
Your fundraising and support will help us to:
- Provide supported holidays for families who would otherwise miss out.

- Run free training and support sessions for family carers.

- A tailored calendar of events and fundraising ideas.
- Where feasible, we will provide in-person support at your conferences/events to help engage your teams and encourage participation in fundraising initiatives.
- Stories, photos, and updates to share with staff and customers.
- Recognition on our website, in our newsletter (5k+), and across our social media (22k+).
- Guidance and support for people in your organisation who have a friend or family member living with dementia.
Real, Collaborative Impact
Our COTY partnerships are designed to benefit both parties.
Find out how we launched a National bespoke event, The Big Green Picnic, for our COTY partners, Right at Home. It was a huge success. The guests loved their special days, we raised funds for Dementia Adventure, and the partnership picnics attracted local press coverage.
Some franchises even attracted new clients. It was a win-win.
“
We are just six months into our charity partnership with Dementia Adventure, and I cannot believe how much has been achieved in that short space of time; thanks entirely to the positive mindset and proactive working relationship we have established.
Our previous charity partnerships have been with much larger organisations, and while they are instantly recognised and excellent causes, we felt that our network of care franchises were limited in ways they could support the partnership in their local communities.
The team at Dementia Adventure promised us from the start that, although they were a smaller organisation, they recognised the importance of working in partnership and had the resources to help us create bespoke initiatives, while also tapping into their existing campaigns and events.
This was evidenced when, in June—just weeks after the partnership started—we used National Picnic Week to launch a wonderful event across our network, fostering collaboration between local stakeholders and offering a wonderful day out for people living with dementia, and their carers.
We held over 30 Big Green Picnic events across the UK, all organised by our care teams with fantastic support and guidance from Dementia Adventure. We aim to double that number next year and to expand the scope and scale of the picnics.
The DA team has attended our national office and our network-wide annual conference, demonstrating that they are amazing experts in their field of creating beneficial and fun experiences for people living with this cruel disease.
Our network has responded with enthusiasm, not only signing up for picnics but also exploring ways to create their own Green Letter Days experiences, fundraising to help more people access the charity’s supported holidays and days out, and collaborating on professional training opportunities.
We enjoy working with the DA team immensely and are excited about what we can achieve collectively over the next three years.
