The Surrey Half Marathon is a popular closed-road race through the streets and countryside of Woking, offering a well-supported route and a fantastic race-day atmosphere. Known for its friendly feel and relatively flat course, it’s a great option whether you’re taking on your first half marathon or working towards a new personal best. This is a brilliant opportunity to challenge yourself while raising funds to support people living with dementia and their families.

Fundraising & Fees

By taking part in the Surrey Half Marathon for Dementia Adventure, you’ll help us fund supported holidays, outdoor experiences, and training for families affected by dementia. As a small charity, we rely on our runners to help us continue this work.

Costs:

Your fundraising helps cover the cost of your place, with the remaining funds going directly to Dementia Adventure. Any fundraising above your target supports our work in full.

Training and preparation

A half marathon is an achievable challenge for most runners with the right preparation. Many runners follow a 10-to-16-week training plan depending on their experience and starting fitness.

Whether your goal is to complete the distance or improve your time, building up gradually and staying consistent will help you prepare.
