‘Fit’ Events

These events are outdoor fitness races designed to test both your stamina and strength. This dynamic event combines trail running with functional fitness workout stations, creating a full-body challenge in a supportive event atmosphere.

Across a series of 1 km trail runs, you’ll take on high-intensity workout stations designed to test your determination, resilience and teamwork. It’s a great goal to train for if you enjoy fitness challenges and want to push yourself while raising funds for a meaningful cause.

 

‘Rush’ and ‘Fallout’ Events 

With both the Rush and Fallout events you can choose from multiple distances to take on the ultimate muddy obstacle course! 

From thrilling slip and slides and the iconic Travelator to mud pits and cargo nets, every obstacle delivers mud, fun and a genuine sense of achievement. Whether you’re a complete beginner, seasoned racer, endurance runner, adult or child, there’s a race for everyone.

Fundraising & Fees

By taking part in Nuclear Fit for Dementia Adventure, you’ll help us fund supported holidays, outdoor experiences, and training for families affected by dementia. As a small charity, we rely on challenge participants like you to help us continue this work.

Costs:

Your fundraising helps cover the cost of your place, with the remaining funds going directly to Dementia Adventure. Any fundraising above your target will go straight towards supporting our work.

Training and preparation

Nuclear Races are a physical challenge, so some preparation is recommended. Participants often prepare by combining running with strength or functional fitness training.

You don’t need to be an elite athlete, but a reasonable level of fitness will help you get the most from the experience.
