Costs (for both distances):
- Registration fee: £25
- Minimum fundraising target: £250
Your fundraising helps cover the cost of your place, with the remaining funds going directly to Dementia Adventure. Any fundraising above your target supports our work in full.

We’ll support you with:
- Fundraising ideas and guidance
- Help setting up your fundraising page
- A Dementia Adventure running vest
- Ongoing support from our team
Training and preparation
Both a 10K and a half-marathon are an achievable challenge with the right preparation. Many runners follow a 8-10 week training plan for a 10k or a 10-16 week training plan for a half marathon, depending on their experience and starting fitness.
Whether you’re aiming to complete the distance or improve your time, building up gradually and staying consistent will help you prepare.
