  • Celebrating a Blossoming Partnership: Freddie’s Flowers and Dementia Adventure Win the Partnership Breakthrough Award!

We are bursting with pride to announce that Freddie’s Flowers has been awarded the prestigious Partnership Breakthrough Award at this year’s Pennies Awards!

A Heartfelt Collaboration

Freddie’s Flowers and Dementia Adventure joined hands with a shared vision: to support individuals living with dementia and their families and carers. As a company committed to nurturing happiness and connection, Freddie’s Flowers recognised the importance of giving back to the community. In partnership with Pennies, they became the pioneering brand to offer recurring micro-donations through their subscription service.

The Power of Micro-Donations

The impact of micro-donations cannot be understated. In 2024, Freddie’s Flowers saw a staggering 167.96% increase in donations compared to the previous year! This impressive growth surge was spurred by a special campaign celebrating Dementia Adventure’s 15th birthday, dedicated to raising awareness and support for those affected by dementia. Freddie’s Flowers sent out a box of flowers and a vase to over 130 people who registered to take part in a free online flower arranging webinar, fostering a sense of community and connection that resonates deeply with the mission of both organisations.

A Testament to Community Spirit

Freddie’s Flowers’ innovative approach not only raised much-needed funds for Dementia Adventure but also reinforced their dedication to community well-being. This award exemplifies the spirit in which the Partnership Breakthrough Award was founded – recognising organisations that make swift, meaningful progress in the micro-donation landscape. By celebrating this partnership, we honour not only the financial support generated but also the hearts they have touched along the way.
