  • Celebrate Dementia Adventure’s 15th Birthday: Join Our Online Flower Arranging Session and Receive a Free Bunch of Flowers!

This is an opportunity to engage in the perfect springtime sensory activity with us at Dementia Adventure and Freddie’s Flowers. As part of our 15th birthday celebration, we’ve teamed up with Freddie Garland from Freddie’s Flowers to host an online flower arranging session on Saturday, April 20th, at 11 am.

Freddie, with his firsthand experience from one of our supported holidays in Norfolk and his personal connection to family members living with dementia, brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to making a difference. During the webinar, Freddie will guide participants through the art of flower arranging, sharing insights into why sensory activities like this are so beneficial.

This collaboration between Dementia Adventure and Freddie’s Flowers aims to create meaningful activities for people living with dementia (that includes carers!). Flower arranging isn’t just about creating a beautiful bouquet; it’s about engaging the senses, sparking memories, and fostering connections.

Have a look at the video to find out a bit more as our Programme Leader Ruth chats to Freddie about the power of sensory activities to uplift moods, stimulate the mind, and bring joy.

The first 100 people to sign up will receive a FREE box of flowers, complete with a vase, courtesy of Freddie’s Flowers. To reserve your spot and claim your free bunch of flowers, simply click [here](link to sign up page). Don’t wait too long as spots are limited!

Join us at Dementia Adventure and Freddie’s Flowers for a morning filled with creativity, connection, and, of course, beautiful blooms. Let’s celebrate springtime and our 15th birthday in style!
